Ray Sahelian, M.D. information, education, residency, certification, newsletter subscription, books written, products formulated

Ray Sahelian, M.D. is a medical doctor who writes books, maintains a natural health information web site, develops natural herbal products and supplements, and writes a newsletter called Natural Healing Secrets which is emailed free once or twice a month to over 200,000 subscribers. He is regularly interviewed by the media regarding the latest research on natural supplements. What makes him different than many other doctors who write about nutritional supplements is that he himself takes the herbs, vitamins, amino acids, hormones and all the natural pills and potions he writes about to determine their effectiveness and side effect profile. He also has feedback from his patients and countless users who write to him through his website and Facebook public profile page reporting benefits and side effects and their personal experiences using dietary supplements. He is highly respected, not only for the unique knowledge he has acquired in nutritional medicine, but also because of his integrity and honesty. On this website he reports, in an honest way, the benefits of nutritional supplements and he also reports the risks and dangers of these natural pills.

You can find him on Facebook where he answers questions regarding general topics on natural health and healing. He has more than 90,000 fans on Facebook.

Questions
I read on the website Ripoff Report dot com that said unflattering things about the doctor. Can you explain?
Ripoff Report is a web site where anyone can post anything whether it is a legitimate complaint or untrue. As a result, some companies and individuals take advantage of this avenue to post comments and criticisms about their competitors. This is what happened in this case. Since the doctor has formulated products, such as Passion Rx, which are sold on a popular web site called Physician Formulas, one of his competitors who also has libido enhancing products on the internet wrote the review on Ripoff Report dot com in order to falsely damage his reputation. A lawsuit was filed against the people who are suspected in writing this report and it was successful. However, Ripoff Report refuses to take down the untrue posting. Unfortunately this makes Ripoff Report -- a potentially very useful site to the consumer -- unreliable since no one knows when reading a posting whether it is legitimate or inaccurate information written by a competitor or someone who just wants to damage another person's reputation.
